CityVille

CityVille

A news just went out that there is a new giant in Facebook games recently. The game CityVille which outperformed MafiaWars currently has 92,854,604 subscribers/players. That's 92 million +. Phew, that number is way more than UK residents, and couple of times more than Malaysian residents.

CityVille is a creation from Zynga, yes the same creator of MafiaWars (the game that has gulped so so sooo many hours of my life).  These guys/gals seems to know how to manipulate people feeling and making them addicted to the game more and more. I'm pretty certain that the rivalry and social recipe in the game is one of the main ingredients on making people forget that there are a lot of better things to do than facing the monitors all day long.

I don't play the game, and I certainly don't want to waste any more time in any online facebook games. For those who are still addicted to the game, please quit. Unless of course you don't have anything better to do with your life. For me and my family, I pray to Allah so that none of us will be addicted to it. Coz addiction is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get. (really?)
