Mobile phone use 'could treat Alzheimer's'

Here's an interesting news to read. (click here).

Previously we usually heard about extensive use of mobile phone could cause headaches. Or maybe it's just another thing that Bluetooth is trying to exaggerate in order to sell their technology in wireless earphones and speakers.

Here are some excerpt of the research regarding mobile phone as Alzheimer's cure.

New research has emerged which could turn ideas about the health effects of mobile phone use on their head.

A string of health scares has linked radiation from phone handsets to increased risk of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis.

But a new study on mice suggests using a phone may actually protect against Alzheimer's or even reverse the progress of the disease.

Scientists found that mice with Alzheimer's were effectively cured after being exposed to the kind of electromagnetic waves produced by phone handsets.

Deposits of a harmful protein linked to the disease were erased from the animals' brains, and their thinking ability and memory returned to normal levels.

The study involved 96 mice, most of which were genetically engineered to develop the typical symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.

The tests suggest that it would take years for constant use of mobile phones to have a similar effect on humans.

Well, the research did not disclose the type of signal, phone or length of the usage that may cure Alzheimer's. So don't bother to put any Alzheimer's patients on cell phone just yet.
